On Oct. 24, security personnel at Macy’s watched Toliver remove security tags from clothing items, stuff them in a bag and then make fraudulent purchases from the store before attempting to leave. She was arrested, and when searching her purse police found 17 morphine pills and three Oxycodone pills.
Toliver told police she would use receipts from past transactions to make returns, then transfer the balance of the returns onto gift cards, which she would then use to purchase items from the store for herself.
