Son, 31, Admits Defrauding Parents by Maxing Boston Store Cards

Father says his grown son is a drug addict who will do anything to feed his dependence, including ripping off his own parents to fraudulently buy and the sell off gift cards.

A 31-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after he allegedly bought thousands of dollars in gift cards at Boston Store in Mayfair Mall – by defrauding his own parents.

James William Clymer Jr. was charged Monday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with two counts of unauthorized use of personal identification. If convicted, he faces up to 12 years in prison and $20,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

In mid-May, Clymer’s father was contacted by his mother-in-law after a Boston Store, route: {:controller=>"listings", :action=>"show", :id=>"boston-store-3"} --> credit card came to her house with his name on it. He contacted the company and found out someone had requested a change of address on the card and a credit limit increase to $3,000, then maxed out the account on gift card purchases at the
