On Sept. 28, Alford went into M&I Bank, 7501 W. North Ave. and handed a teller a piece of paper ripped from a note book that read “need money, no dye packs.” However, the teller told him she didn’t have any money.
Alford then went and stood behind customers being helped at the next teller’s window, but that employee asked him “do you mind,” so he went back to the original teller he approached who again told him she didn’t have any money.

The teller then softly told another employee she was being robbed and a panic button was pressed. Alford then looked at the employee who pressed the button and said “alright, I’ll be back.”
He then left the bank without obtaining money, but was later indentified via video surveillance by Alford’s federal probation agent. He remains at large but an arrest warrant has been issued against him.
