No Foul Play Suspected in Death on North 70th Street
Police cordoned off the block Friday morning as a precaution.
Wauwatosa Police blocked off the 1300 block of North 70th Street on Friday after receiving a report of a body being found in a home, but have determined the death was likely a suicide.
A call about 10:30 a.m. triggered police response; a photo provided by WISN 12 News showed the block cordoned off. A statement from the Wauwatosa Police Department on Friday afternoon said that while the investigation continues, the white, male subject in his 50s likely took his own life.
The body was turned over to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office.
