Suburban Crime: Sentence Levied in Greenfield Stabbing

40 years for murder: A Greenfield man who stabbed his wife to death while their children slept elsewhere in the house received 40 years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree reckless homicide.

Victim identified: Authorities in Mount Pleasant identified a woman found dead in a Christmas Day house fire as 21-year-old Bianca Vite of Pleasant Prairie. They are investigating the death as a homicide.

Suspects sought: Police are looking for two men in connection with the death of an Oak Creek man, killed in late December in the Milwaukee grocery store he owned.

Guilty in bomb threat: A Greendale High School senior pleaded guilty to writing a bomb threat on the wall of a bathroom stall in September. The act carried a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Gun at mental hospital: Police say a 29-year-old man went into a mental health facility with a fully loaded handgun and three loaded magazines in Wauwatosa.
