Police say a 27-year-old Wauwatosa man began firing after a June 16 physical altercation at the casino.

A Wauwatosa man has been charged in connection with a shooting earlier this summer at Potawatomi Bingo Casino.

Police say Gregory D. Harmon, Jr. was fighting with a group of people at the casino June 16. As a security officer tried to pull people off Harmon and preserve order, Harmon pulled out a black handgun and fired twice, according to a criminal complaint.

One of the bullets hit a woman in the upper left thigh.

Harmon, 27, has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon, endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon and carrying a handgun where alcohol is sold. The misdemeanor charges carry a combined maximum sentence of 27 months in prison and $30,000 in fines.
