Tosa Teen Charged After Wrecking Construction Equipment
Suspect was found hiding behind construction equipment after police were called.
An 18-year-old Wauwatosa man is facing charges after he and a friend were caught damaging equipment Oct. 1 at a construction site on the 6000 block of Martin Drive.
According to the criminal complaint, someone noticed the two friends damaging the equipment and called police. Upon arriving, officers discovered Reitinger and his accomplice were still at the scene, and Reitinger was hiding behind a piece of construction equipment.
Reitinger and the friend damaged $1,625 worth of equipment owned by Dave Jones Fire Protection that was being kept at the site. He’s charged with one count of criminal damage to property, which carries a maximum penalty of nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines if convicted.

According to police reports, the two men were actually that one man said he wanted for his budding career in carpentry.
Police had recommended charges of burglary without force – a Class F felony punishable by up to seven-and-a-half years in prison and five years additional supervision.
