On Nov. 18, the victim was at the Speedway station at 2301 10th St. when he came back out to his car and found a $500 laptop computer was missing. Officers checked surveillance footage and saw Arvelo taking the computer out of the car.

Employees of the store recognized Arvelo as a regular patron of the store, so they waited for him to come back in and collected his personal information, then passed it on to police.
