UPDATE: WISN: Tosa Police Arrest Boyfriend in Death of Domestic Violence Advocate

Boyfriend of a woman who helped victims of domestic abuse in northeastern Wisconsin is now in custody after being arrested in connection with her death.

Update – 4:25 p.m.: Brent Kaempf was charged Wednesday in Marinette County Circuit Court with one count of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Patricia Waschbisch.

Wauwatosa police arrested the boyfriend of a domestic violence advocate after she was killed in her home in northeastern Wisconsin.

Patricia Waschbisch, 45, was found dead in her Peshtigo home Sunday night, according to Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News. Investigators said Waschbisch's 13-year-old daughter returned home from a slumber party to find her mother slain.

Her boyfriend, Brent Kaempf, was arrested Monday and is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail. He is expected to be charged in the case Thursday, authorities said, WISN reported.
