WISN: Ben Sebena Asks for Forgiveness [Video]

Ben Sebena, who was sentenced Friday for killing his wife, a Wauwatosa police officer, apologized to the victim's family in court.

Just before he was sentenced to life in prison on Friday for the murder of his wife, Ben Sebena addressed the court for about two minutes — talking about the crime and his remorse for what he did.

Sebena killed his wife Jennifer, a Wauwatosa police officer, on Christmas Eve 2012.

"Every night...every morning, I think about Jen — what I've done to her and what I've taken away from this world," he told Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski . "I ask for forgiveness and I hope to God you give it to me one day."
