Curbside Christmas Tree Pickup Starts Monday

Collection is on regular trash pickup days and lasts two weeks.

There's little chance Tosa residents will get to enjoy that last little holiday pleasure of standing their Christmas trees up in a snow bank at the end of the driveway. But it's time to put them out there anyway.

Christmas trees placed at curbside will be picked up beginning Monday on residents' regularly scheduled garbage collection day. Two complete weekly pickup passes will be made throughout the city.

Trees and other all-organic greenery are recycled in the city compost program. So the asks residents to please place no wreaths or other greenery with wires at the curb.
