A town hall meeting on the impact the Gov. Scott Walker’s proposed state budget on the City of Wauwatosa will be held at the Wauwatosa Library’s Firefly Room at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 24.
Invited participants include Wauwatosa City Administrator James Archambo, Wauwatosa Superintendent of Schools Phil Ertl, and Institute for Wisconsin’s Future analyst Jack Norman.
Norman will give an overview of the various provisions of the proposed budget. Ertl will describe steps being taken to maintain high quality education in Wauwatosa in the face of the proposed cuts to schools.

Archambo is unable to attend, but will provide a summary document describing the options the city will consider to respond to proposed multu-million dollar cut in funding to city services.
A question and answer period will follow the presentations.
