Sensenbrenner Holding Town Hall Meeting at 5 p.m. at Civic Center

Last such meeting in Tosa ended quickly with large, loud crowd, much finger-pointing after congressman made an early exit.

Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner is scheduled to appear for a Town Hall meeting at 5 this evening at the Wauwatosa City Hall Civic Center, 7725 W. North Ave., to discuss issues on constituents' minds.

A meeting of the same kind on March 7 at the Civic Center ended abruptly after just 27 minutes when the audience became restive and Sensenbrenner left, as reported then in an article in Wauwatosa NOW.

Wauwatosa Patch did not launch until March 29.

NOW and other media reported at the time that Sensenbrenner felt the crowd was being disrespectful of him and state Sen. Leah Vukmir, but many in the audience felt that he was being just as disrespectful to them and were defensive about answering questions.
