Vukmir Adviser Running for Redrawn Assembly Seat Including Part of Wauwatosa

Matt Adamczyk, senior adviser to state Sen. Leah Vukmir, is running in the 13th District, which has new boundary lines because of redistricting.

Matt Adamczyk, senior advisor for state Sen. Leah Vukmir and a local business manager, is running to represent the redrawn 13th District in the State Assembly.

The district now includes parts of Wauwatosa, Elm Grove, Brookfield and West Allis and is currently represented by Democrat David Cullen, who has held the office since 1990.

Cullen's residence now falls outside the new boundaries, and he was to the Milwaukee County Board on April 3, representing the 15th Supervisory District.

He helps manage his family company, Adamczyk Heating & Cooling, 6019 Blue mound Rd., runs a home rental business and has worked for the past seven years as a senior adviser to Vukmir (R-Wauwatosa). He graduated from Pius XI and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
