Readers' Choice: Best Veterinarian

When your four-legged friends get ill, where in Hudson do you turn for help? Patch wants to know.

Our pets, the old saying goes, are like members of the family.

With one exception: When a dog or cat gets sick, they can't tell you what's wrong. That's why the family veterinarian has become such an important figure in many peoples' lives, offering invaluable advice to keep our four-legged friends happy as long as possible, and when that's no longer possible, at least providing a comfortable departure from this world.

When your best-friend-with-fur gets sick, to whom do you turn? Is there one particular vet in Hudson who has brought joy and comfort to you and your loved ones, including those of the furry persuasion?

Nominate your favorite vet in the comments below.

We will take nominations starting this week. Nominations end July 9 and voting will run from July 23 to Aug. 17.

Croix Valley Vet rocks! They are a husband and wife team. They have late hours on certain days of the week and if you have an emergency they will meet you and care for your animal. Their rates are fabulously low!
