Fifth Annual Wine vs. Beer Tasting Match-up Coming April 26

Tosa Wrestling Club fundraiser will feature the music of Liam Ford and a silent auction at Wauwatosa Woman's Club.

The Tosa Wrestling Club will host the fifth annual Wine vs. Beer Tasting Match-up on Friday, April 26th at the Wauwatosa Woman’s Club from 6 to 9 p.m.

Liam Ford, two-time winner of the Wisconsin Area Music Industry Awards and two-time nominee (2010 and 2011) for Best Americana Band, will headline the Wine vs. Beer Tasting Match-up.  Formerly with the band, The Big Bang Theory, Ford is an accomplished performer known for his dynamic vocals and high energy. 

In addition to entertainment, the evening will include wines and beers from around the world, along with appetizers by Bunzel’s Catering.  Coffee and soda also will be available.

The event will feature a silent auction with hotel and restaurant offerings, golf packages, and especially for Mother’s Day shoppers, a large assortment of jewelry and handmade items.  The event also will feature specialty wine and gift basket raffles. 

Tickets are $30 per person prior to April 20, and $40 at the door the night of the event. Checks can be mailed to Kathy Kendl, Tosa Wrestling Club treasurer, at 5827 W. Wells St., Wauwatosa, WI, 53213. Please include your name, email address and telephone number with your order.

All event proceeds will benefit the Tosa Wrestling Club, a non-profit organization offering programs that develop character by teaching and demonstrating positive values that serve as a foundation for healthy lifestyles. The club annually provides wrestling instruction and experiences for more than 200 youth throughout the community from grades 2 through high school.
