Man Was Pointing Camera at Kids at Christ King, Woman Tells Police

Suspicious character drove away rapidly when school parent approached him to find out what he was up to, she tells officer.

A Wauwatosa woman told police that at about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, as she was riding her bicycle past Christ King School, 2646 Swan Blvd., she spotted a man sitting in a car and pointing a camera at the school playground, which at the time was filled with children at lunch recess.

She told police she turned around to confront the man about what he was doing and he hurriedly drove off. She said he was no one she had ever seen from the neighborhood or the school community.

The woman, who said she has four children who either attend or have attended Christ King, immediately reported the encounter to the principal, who called police.
