Wauwatosa School Board Adopting the Sandy Hook Promise

The board is considering adopting the resolution, the Sandy Hook Promise, that honors the 26 lives lost in the tragic shootings.

The Wauwatosa School Board is considering adopting the Sandy Hook Promise:

I Promise to honor the 26 lives lost at Sandy Hook Elementary School.  I Promise to do everything I can to encourage and support common sense solutions that make my community and our country safer from similar acts of violence.

Sandy Hook Promise (SHP) is a non-profit created by community members of Newtown, Connecticut in response to the shooting, which killed 20 children, four teachers and two administrators.
