Two Students Talked of Planting Bombs at East, Reports Say

Boys admitted to police wide discussions of bomb plots before they were overheard and reported, news reports says.

Two Wauwatosa East High students discussed a variety of plans to plant bombs in the school before being overheard and reported, according to a story on Today's TMJ4 based on police reports released Friday.

Wauwatosa Patch reported on April 29, a Monday, when parents were first notified by the School District, that a bomb scare had been uncovered late the previous Friday and that police were investigating more than one student's involvement.

At the time, the School District announced,Β "Last Friday, after the conclusion of the school day, the District was made aware of a rumored bomb threat against East High School."

The now-released police reports detail in more than 50 pages the two boys' admissions of discussing four different bombing schemes, including a suicide attack, the TMJ4 report said in a 10 p.m. Friday newscast.

The two made reference in their statements to both the Sandy Hook, CT, school shootings and the Boston Marathon bombing, the report said, and admitted researching on the Internet ways of building bombs.
