Unbeaten Greendale Easily Handles Tosa West
Mickey Morgan continues fine season, but Trojans are outmatched.
The Tosa West Trojans were defeated by Greendale 46-7 in high school football on Friday night at the Trojans home field. In the Woodland Conference, Greendale is undefeated and Tosa West fell to 1-6.
A bright spot for the Trojans was the continued, high-quality play of junior Mickey Morgan in the defensive backfield and as a receiver. He thrilled the crowd in the second quarter with a 99-yard kickoff return. Morgan now has returned four kicks or interceptions for touchdowns this season, and also had kicked a pair of field goals.
The Trojans celebrate homecoming this week, and the Tosa varsity takes on the Saint Francis Mariners on Friday night.
