Brookfield East Edges Tosa East 1-0 in WIAA Soccer Sectional

Brookfield East beat Tosa East Thursday night to advance closer to state finals.

Amidst battling chants of, "Go East!" 's boys soccer team defeated 1-0 on Thursday in a WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinal.

Senior Mark Heydt scored the lone goal on a breakaway with an assist from junior John Orgovan.

Brookfield East will go on to play at 7 p.m. Saturday at . The winner of that game will go to the WIAA State Tournament quarterfinals, which begin Thursday at Uihlein Soccer Park.
