In the comfort of you own home, help Tosa Skateboarders United (TSU) get started on building the skate park in Hart Park by voting for us in the WaterStone Bank online contest. www.wsbonline.com/anniversary/vote.aspx We are currently the leading Wauwatosa charity in the contest and have a shot at getting in the top 4 if all of Tosa pitches in to help by voting for TSU many times, every day until April 30. The skate park will provide a safe, legal place for our youth to gather and skate/blade or BMX bike. This plaza style park will encourage spectators of all ages and truly make Hart Park a "destination" park. Because of our committement to youth engagement of all kinds, young families will consider Wauwatosa to be at the top of their list when looking for a place to raise a family. Our schools will benefit from increased enrollment, our property values will rise. But most importantly, our youth will have an alternative to traditional team sports: to exercise, practice "free play" and to reduce juvenile obesity/diabetes.
