Milwaukee Wave Pros Teach Future Stars At Hawthorne Park

The Milwaukee Wave have won six professional indoor soccer championships in their 30-year history.

But the franchise's greatest legacy is perhaps its summer camp program, which has taught soccer to thousands upon thousands of children over most of the last three decades.

Hawthorne Park in Wauwatosa is home to a camp this week for strikers -- the goal scorers -- and keepers, the goal stoppers.

Wave keeper Marcel Feenstra and longtime midfielder Marcelo Fontana were among the pros sharing their knowledge with the kids.
