Photos: Tosa West Girls Fall Short in Sectional Semi-Finals

The Trojans end the season with a 13-12 record, after losing to the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes 54-37 Thursday night.

Wauwatosa West's hopes of advancing in the WIAA sectionals were dashed Thursday night by a talented Whitefish Bay team.

The Blue Dukes came out strong right out of the gate with a score of 20-6 after the first quarter. The scoring was a little more balanced through the remaining three quarters, leaving the Blue Dukes with a 54-37 win to advance to the sectional finals round of sectionals Saturday.

Tosa West's leading scorers were Latasha Harmon, with 11 points, Jessica Pike with eight points and Ashley Lindstrom with seven points.

Now, the Dukes tip off against New Berlin Eisenhower at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Waukesha South. The winner of that game goes to the Division 2 state tournament.
