Wauwatosa East, West Kick Off Football Season Against Each Other

The season opener is Friday. The last time the teams played, back in 2011 at Hart Park, the Trojans pulled out a 21-13 victory.

The Wauwatosa West Trojans and Wauwatosa East Red Raiders will renew their crosstown football rivalry after a one-year hiatus when the two teams kick off the 2013 Wisconsin high school football season at 7 p.m. Friday at West High School.

The last time the teams played, back in 2011 at Hart Park, the Trojans pulled out a 21-13 victory.

Across town, the Red Raiders lost their final five games of the 2012 season and finished 2-6 overall and 1-6 in the Greater Metro Conference.
