West's Campbell Wins Whitefish Bay Invite

Junior Patrick Campbell finishes 12 seconds ahead of nearest competitor.

Patrick Campbell of Wauwatosa West was the overall boys champion at the Whitefish Bay cross country invitational on Thursday at Kletzsch Park, in a time of 16:06.

The Trojans finished eighth out of 12 teams with an overall score of 198. Other finishers were: Taylor Floyd-Mews (ninth, 17:05), Alec Kirtley (58th, 18:44), Kevin Detlaff (60th, 18:52), Dominic Longo (70th, 19:26) and Brendan Michael (72nd, 20:02).

Wisconsin Lutheran was the boys champion with 39 points.

Tosa West's girls finished seventh of 12 teams with 184 points. Finishers for the Trojans were: Hannah Wishert (21st, 16:54), Maggie Boyle (22nd, 16:55), Rachel Longo (44th, 18:10), Casey Grabow (45th, 18:25) and Hannah Doyle (52nd, 19:00).

Whitefish Bay was the winner with 29 points.
