Who's Going to State in Boys Track?

Wauwatosa West performed well in distance races and jumps at Thursday's Waukesha North Sectional; East had a single qualifier.

Wauwatosa West will be well represented at the WIAA state boys track and field meet next weekend in La Crosse.

Taylor Floyd-Mews and Jimmy Reynolds qualified in two events each at Thursday’s Waukesha North Sectional. Reynolds won the triple jump and was second in the long jump. Floyd-Mews qualified in the 3,200 and the 1,600

Nick Pridgeon was the only Wauwatosa East athlete to move on, taking third in the 300 hurdles

TOSA WEST

  • Patrick Campbell, second, 3,200 meters
  • Taylor Floyd-Mews, third, 3,200 meters; second, 1,600 meters
  • Jimmy Reynolds, first, triple jump; second, long jump
  • Nolan Kresnak, second, high jump
  • 4 x 200 relay, second
  • 4 x 100 relay, third

TOSA EAST

  • Nick Pridgeon, third, 300 hurdles

Other individuals may also qualify based on time and the entire field will be released before the state meet, May 31-June 1 in La Crosse.
