New Milwaukee County Paramedics Graduate

Milwaukee County EMS Education Center held a commencement service for the 54th graduating paramedic class on June 12, 2013.  Paramedic students from the communities of Greendale, Greenfield, Franklin, North Shore, West Allis, and South Milwaukee received certificates of completion.Graduates will now take their state of Wisconsin written licensing exam.

DHHS director Héctor Colón welcomed students and guests to the service, a city of Milwaukee firefighter/paramedic gave the keynote address and welcomed the graduates to the profession and Milwaukee County Medical Director M. Riccardo Colella acknowledged the hard work of the graduating students.  Once licensed, graduates will provide advanced life support care to the citizens of Milwaukee County. Click here for more pictures from the commencement ceremony.
