A fine selection (beer, wine & liquor) with knowledgable people that won't hesitate to pick up the phone and find answers if they don't know it themselves. Also located in a very nice and safe area. I price compare and find that Ray's is generally a bit higher than the other stores I shop at (Woodman's, Discount, Otto's or Binny's in Illinois). On that note, they recently offered a "two for one" on a particular Scotch that I enjoy (found elsewhere for $39.99) so I headed on over, only to find that they raised the price from $46.99 to $59.99. Still a good deal but a practice I consider to be akin to the old 'bait and swittch'.
Ray's also has a tasting room that is very nicely appointed. Primarily wine tastings from what I've seen however I have attended a whiskey tasting there found it to be informative and fairly priced ($20).
All in all, a nice place to shop but not the best prices if that is a concern of yours.
