The Tosa School of the Trades was founded on the principle that even in a community like Wauwatosa not every student wants a 4-year liberal arts degree after high school, and that there is a need in the workplace for skilled technicians that is not being met by many school districts. The Tosa School of the Trades partners with local trade and tech businesses to train students for the working world. The school is located on the lower floor of the Fisher Building, which also houses the district administration offices.
