Underwood Creek Parkway
414-476-4510
The visionary Charles Whitnall created the system of Milwaukee County Parkways during the Great Depression by buying up the land along local streams to form both floodways and recreational corridors for county citizens. Underwood Creek is a tributary of the Menomonee River in the southeast quadrant of Wauwatosa. Underwood provides for biking and hiking as well as scenic drives, as do all of the parkways, but it also features the Wil-o-Way Community Center and access to the Hansen Park Golf Course.
