The Western Suburban YMCA has been a fixture in the Wauwatosa community for more than 30 years. Generations of families have grown there in mind, body and spirit. The facility features athletic fields, basketball courts, cardiovascular exercise, exercise bikes, elliptical trainers, rowing machines, stair climbers/steppers, treadmills, a gymnasium, an indoor climbing wall, kid care, massage services, personal training, a playground, a pool, racquetball/handball courts, indoor and outdoor running and walking tracks, a sauna,a  snack bar/vending, a steam room, Cybex Fitlinxx and free-weight equipment, a whirlpool and youth room/game tables. The Western Suburban YMCA is located on 124th Street just north of North Avenue.
