In Waukesha, Florida senator says Indiana U.S. Senate candidate Richard Mourdock made an "unfortunate" choice of words and was right to apologize to any who interpreted him to say that "God intended" for rape to happen.

Marco Rubio Thursday called the remarks about rape made by Indiana GOP Senate candidate Richard Mourdock "unfortunate" and said Mourdock made the right move by apologizing. Mourdock generated a firestorm of controversy after he said the following in a televised debate on Tuesday: “Even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, it is something that God intended to happen." Girl Who Stole Wauwatosa's Heart Passes Away

Kaylen Birk, 6, was given just the faintest hope of surviving a rare brain stem tumor. She did not, but in her struggle to live she touched the lives of a community and leaves it closer-knit.

Kaylen Birk was a gamer, a fighter, a little more than a bit stubborn and a lot loving and caring. She was not inclined to let anything stop her from going to school and being with her friends as long as she possibly could – not even a disease that, in the end, could not be cured. Kaylen kept going to school until the day before she passed away. She died Saturday, less than a week before she would have turned 7. The plight of Kaylen and her family gave rise to an overwhelming show of support and assistance that filled and then and spilled over from the Lincoln Elementary School community to involve hundreds more people in Wauwatosa. Collective Bargaining Decision Angers Conservatives, Pleases Unions

As news of Dane County Circuit Court Judge Juan Colas' decision to strike down the state's collective bargaining law spread, liberals marked the ruling a win while conservatives took issue with it.

Just hours after Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas decided that the state’s collective bargaining law was unconstitutional, reaction from liberals and conservatives erupted.
