They were at the Zoological Society of Milwaukee’s Puttin’ on the Ritz fund-raiser Jan. 26, 2012. A record turnout of more than 350 attendees enjoyed the black-tie-and-boxing event at Potawatomi Bingo Casino in downtown Milwaukee. Guests in formal evening attire had a glamorous evening with a gourmet dinner, candlelit tables, an auction and seven rounds of amateur boxing. This was the event’s 17th year of raising money for the non-profit Zoological Society to help the Milwaukee County Zoo and conserve animals. Zimmerman is a member of the Zoological Society’s Associate Board.
