You can visit the parks office in Hart Park to get a permit for games, parties and other events at park facilities. This office can also grant permits for the senior center, Muellner Building rental hall, the curling rink and athletic fields at Hart Park.

Parks and Forestry is a division of the Public Works Department and is guided on policy by both the Common Council and the advice of the Board of Parks and Forestry Commissioners.

The park was recently expanded because of a flood management project and new features are being added, such as a new performance stage. The park features a football stadium with artificial turf, baseball and softball fields, and tennis courts. Hart Park is also home to the Muellner Building, which contains a senior center, public meeting rooms and a performance hall and an indoor ice rink that is home to the Wauwatosa Curling Club.
