Chain specializing in local and organic edibles may be looking for a niche in an already crowded market, Milwaukee BizTimes says.
Consumers on the metro west side, already treated to the best grocery-shopping options around, may get yet another popular choice. Whole Foods is looking to site its second Milwaukee-area store in either Wauwatosa or Brookfield, according to a report in Milwaukee BizTimes. Among the options under consideration are the Blue Mound Road corridor and The Mayfair Collection development at West Burleigh Street and Highway 45, the report said. As it should be. ;) Also, I was happy as a peach because I did some shopping at Target on the ol' V-D Day, saving $38 and paying $33. I saved so much by using 33 coupons total. 16 were manufacturer coupons clipped from the Sunday papers and 17 were Target store coupons. At Target you're allowed to "stack" coupons which means you can use one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon per item. When you can match both types of coupons to an …

In my opinion, the Brookfield, Elm Grove and Wauwatosa area are over saturated with grocer options. I reside in Tosa and depending on my menu choices, the luxury of shopping for specialty food/organic items are at my disposal. Trader Joe's on Bluemound, Elm Grove's Sendik's on Watertown, then Grasch's on North Avenue. My point being it's all about locale. If Whole Foods should decide on the …   more ›
