Milwaukee Man Charged With 3rd OWI After Arrest in Tosa

Wauwatosa police pull the suspect over after he's seen driving slowly and erratically through the city in November.

A 29-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of driving drunk through Wauwatosa in November. Nathan C. Torgerson was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with one count of third-offense operating while intoxicated. If convicted, he faces up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:34 a.m. Nov. 11, a Wauwatosa police officer spotted Torgerson driving very slowly and erratically in a Chevrolet Tahoe near Menomonee River Parkway and Charles Hart Parkway, so he pulled the SUV over. Torgerson said he consumed six to seven beers throughout the course of the day. Torgerson failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol level of 0.225, which is nearly three times more than the legal limit to drive in …

Man Charged with Causing 5-Car Crash While Intoxicated

A Milwaukee man is accused of driving drunk and speeding Monday afternoon on Mayfair Road, then causing a chain-reaction crash.

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man is accused of causing a five-car accident while driving drunk Monday on Mayfair Road, which left at least one other person injured. Daljeet Singh was charged Friday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with one count of third-offense operating while intoxicated, causing injury. If convicted, he faces up to three years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 2:15 p.m. Monday, Wauwatosa police officers were called to the 1700 block of Mayfair Road for a multiple-vehicle accident. Literally – These Multiple Offenders Had Too Much to Drink, Charges Say

A Tosa man is accused of driving drunk to get a late-night bite at George Webb, and another driver runs a red light and falls afoul of drunken driving laws on way to work – their 2nd and 3rd OWI charges, respectively.

  Two men, arrested an hour and a half apart the same night and both in the Wauwatosa Village area, have been charged with driving while drunk. One had been safely home but got hungry and couldn't resist getting in his car and slaloming toward an all-night diner, police reports said. He had already been convicted once of operating while intoxicated. The other, police said, ran a red light after drinking too much – on his way to work. He now faces his third OWI charge. Accused Drunk Driver Had .38 Blood Alcohol Level, Police Say

Milwaukee woman is accused of driving drunk the wrong way down West State Street after doing some serious drinking before getting behind the wheel.

A 34-year-old Milwaukee woman drove through the Village of Wauwatosa with nearly five times the legal limit of alcohol in her bloodstream, a criminal complaint says. In many people, her blood alcohol concentration – .38, based on a blood sample tested by the State Crime Lab – could have caused unconsciousness or death. But she kept driving, and even performed some intricate if highly illegal and dangerous manuveurs before being arrested. Myesha V. Dad Faces Third OWI for Drinking, Then Driving Kids Home

Man was coming home from a family reunion when a Wauwatosa police officer stopped him for speeding, but he had been drinking and had his minor children in the car.

A 38-year-old Milwaukee man is facing charges after he was caught allegedly driving drunk through Wauwatosa with two of his children in the car. James T. Clark Jr. was charged Thursday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with one count of third-offense operating while intoxicated, with a minor in the vehicle. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and $4,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: At 8:59 p.m. Aug. 18, a Wauwatosa police officer spotted Clark driving eastbound in the 7100 block of West Bluemound Road and doing 41 miles per hour in a 30 miles per hour speed zone. A 51-year-old Wauwatosa man is facing felony charges after he was caught allegedly driving drunk with expired license plates. Kenneth Drew was charged Thursday in Milwaukee County Circuit Court with one count of fourth-offense operating while intoxicated within a five-year period. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines. According to the criminal complaint: On Aug. 11, a Hales Corners police officer on patrol spotted Drew driving southbound on South 108th Street near West Abbott Avenue with expired license plates on his Chevrolet Suburban. An off-duty Wauwatosa police officer who witnessed a serious accident called 911 and stopped to help, but ended up wrestling the driver into custody. That 29-year-old Milwaukee man is facing multiple charges, including his third drunken driving offense, after he smashed his car into a light pole, then tried leave the scene and resisted arrest before creating even more havoc at the hospital. Charges: Drunken Driver Smashed into Qdoba After Police Chase

A 24-year-old Brookfield man ran from police and crashed into Wauwatosa restaurant after he failed to negotiate a turn at 100 miles per hour on Capitol Drive at North 124th Street, charges allege.

A Brookfield man with a February drunken driving conviction was intoxicated early Sunday when he led police on a high-speed chase, eventually smashing into a Qdoba restaurant in Wauwatosa, charges allege. Andrew J. Brumage, 24, was charged Monday in Waukesha County Circuit Court  with fleeing police and causing damage, second-offense operating while intoxicated and operating a motor vehicle after revocation of his license. Brolin was charged Thursday in Racine County Circuit Court with one count of fourth-offense operating while intoxicated within a five-year period. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
