Wauwatosa mom tells Waukesha police her daughter said she woke up to her friend's stepfather touching her after he supplied her and her friends with marijuana and alcohol, according to police logs.
A Wauwatosa woman told Waukesha police her minor daughter may have been sexually assaulted at a slumber party there that, her daughter told her, also involved drugs and alcohol supplied by the adult in question. The Waukesha Police Department’s call log states a man was detained after the girl's mother reported that her daughter woke up to find her friend’s stepfather touching her. The Wauwatosa woman also told police that her daughter said the stepfather supplied her and other minors with alcohol and marijuana. The police call log did not include the girl's age but said she was a minor. The woman told police her daughter was unsure of exactly what happened because of the alcohol and drug use during a two-night slumber party Friday and …

Sometimes a bicycle rider can escape a chasing car, but only by going where the car can't go – not by outrunning it. A worried 15-year-old Wauwatosa boy, despite pedaling frantically, could not outpace a police cruiser when he couldn't get off the beaten tracks of Wauwatosa Village. It didn't keep him from trying, though. He persistently refused to give up on his getaway ride even as the officer drove for blocks alongside him, at a modest speed, imploring him to just stop. The episode began at 1:35 a.m. Nov. 21 when a patrol officer saw three youths riding bikes unsafely and long past curfew down the middle of North 68th Street near Cedar Street. They looked underage, so when they turned onto Terrace Court, he followed, spotlighted them …

A woman who had only been on her new job for a week got a shock when she unlocked her office in the morning and found a strange man inside. At 7:12 a.m. Wednesday, a Greenfield woman who works at the Milwaukee County Research Park building at 10437 Innovation Drive reported that when she entered her office, she found a man lying in the narrow space between her desk and the wall. She yelled and ran out of the office to find help, then saw the man leave her office and walk toward an exit. She told police the man appeared to be wearing a full-length black dress, leading her to believe he was a cross-dresser. She said that the office door had been locked when she arrived and nothing was disturbed. Police found no signs of a forced entry, and …

A boy on an afternoon movie date Wednesday at Mayfair Mall with a girl barely in her teens had to be hospitalized after he drank 20 ounces of vodka and fell, striking his head. According to the police report: The 15-year-old Milwaukee boy was cited for underage drinking at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, where he was taken for treatment because of his extreme level of intoxication. Police were called at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday to check on the boy, who witnesses said had fallen and struck his head. Mall security had moved the boy inside the entrance to the Coldwater Creek store, where officers found him sitting against a wall and so drunk he could not answer questions. A medical unit arrived and paramedics also could not communicate with him…
