WISN: Suspect in Casino Shooting Is Tosa Man

A woman was wounded but is expected to recover after fracas; suspect remains unidentified.

The single suspect in a shooting early Sunday at Potawatomi Casino is reported to be a Wauwatosa man, according to Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News.

The shooting occurred about 1:30 a.m. inside the Canal Street casino, WISN said, and began with a fight between the suspect and his girlfriend.

A 23-year-old woman was shot in the leg and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, according to the report. Several patrons intervened to restrain the suspect and get the gun away from him.

The unidentified suspect was expected to be charged early this week.
